Boucledor celebrates its sixtieth anniversary

Founded in Geneva in 1965, Boucledor is celebrating 60 years of passion, precision and expertise at the heart of Swiss watchmaking. Specialising in the design and production of high-end buckles, clasps and oscillating weights, the company has established itself as an essential partner for the leading watch Manufactures.

Initially focusing on the making of gold buckles and stamping techniques, Boucledor gradually expanded its expertise to include bracelets, clasps and oscillating weights. Today, the company is equally skilled in precision machining and robotised processes as it is in working with the most precious metals (gold, platinum) as well as technical materials such as titanium and steel.

Combining traditional artisanal approaches with cutting-edge industrial organisation, the firm cultivates a commitment to quality, rigorous technical discipline and innovation. At the crossroads of craftsmanship and futuristic technology, it has established itself as a key player in watch finishing.

As part of the Swisstech Watch Components (STWC) group since 2014, Boucledor continues to pursue its mission with conviction, combining excellence, sustainability and knowledge transmission in the service of haute horlogerie. Its commitment to responsible gold and the traceability of precious metals demonstrates a clear desire to reconcile industrial performance with environmental responsibility.

It strives to reduce its gold consumption while promoting responsible supply chains from certified and ethical sources. This approach is part of a global vision of sustainable production, where every choice – from materials to production processes – is guided by a desire to preserve resources and limit its environmental footprint.

Every Boucledor creation is imagined, designed and produced in Switzerland to the highest standards. From masterful design to technical perfection, the company guarantees products that combine elegance, reliability and comfort, crafted from precious materials and finished with high precision.

As part of its anniversary celebrations, the Geneva-based company launched its first immersive tour on 27 October. This exclusive event drew official representatives from the Swiss watch industry and the canton of Geneva, as well as several media outlets and partners, who came to enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at exceptional expertise.
