Klaus
DJ and electronic music producer Klaus is an internationally renowned Italian multimedia artist who shares his musical crushes on his YouTube channel. A few days ago, in Milan, he presented an original creation to an audience of specially invited guests. Last March, during his visit to the company based in Le Locle, he had the idea of recording sounds at the heart of the Manufacture. He then integrated them into a special soundtrack created exclusively for Zenith.
The public were able to enjoy an exclusive experience, including a meeting with Klaus, a pre-release discovery of the soundtrack and the Zenith Watch Clinic workshop, where they were able to step into a watchmaker’s shoes and learn how luminescent pigments are applied to the revamped Pilot collection. Unveiled earlier this year, the Pilot collection has become Klaus’s go-to watch.
Abandoning the collection’s vintage aesthetic, the new black ceramic Pilot Big Date Flyback adopts a utilitarian look and integrates two functions – large date and flyback – into the El Primero 3652 automatic chronograph calibre. These are ideal options for a globetrotter as creative as Klaus. Named “Le Locle”, the soundtrack is available on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming platforms. Other tracks produced by the artist for Zenith will be unveiled in the coming months.
