In February 2022, Omega will serve for the 30th time as official timekeeper of the Olympic Games, to be held from February 4th to 20th in Beijing.
The watchmaker has dedicated a timepiece to this sporting event that is inspired by ice. The Seamaster Aqua Terra “Beijing 2022” features a stainless steel case and bracelet. With this new creation, winter and all its characteristics come to life on the white ceramic dial with its frost-patterned finish. This icy look is a vibrant tribute to the spectacular sports that the various playgrounds of the next Olympics will host: alpine skiing, bobsleigh, speed skating or ice hockey.
To complete the exclusive design of this timepiece, the dial features blued hour-markers and hands enhanced with white Super-LumiNova. Finally, the “Seamaster” indication, as well as the numerals dividing the quarters of the minute-track, stand out in an assertive red. The Beijing 2022 emblem appears on the back of the watch, while at its heart beats the in-house Co-Axial Master Chonometer 8900 calibre.
