Panerai has begun a collaboration with German luxury manufacturer Brabus. To celebrate this partnership, the watch brand presents its new automatic skeleton movement with a bold design inspired by the “Shadow Black Ops” series of boats.
This first creative result between the two Maisons is naturally focused on the sea with the 100-piece Submersible S Brabus Black Ops Edition. This is the first Panerai creation equipped with an automatic skeleton P.4001/s movement distinguished by its off-centred oscillating weight designed to offer bi-directional winding enabling the two barrels to wind the watch more efficiently when it is worn. The tungsten rotor makes the timepiece thinner and lighter, while the stop balance wheel and seconds-resetting device enables time to be synchronised with a reference time signal. This new calibre was developed on the basis of the P.4000, entirely developed and created within the Neuchâtel-based Manufacture.
