Tissot timekeeper of the Winter Universiade

As the Official Timekeeper of the Universiade since 2007, Tissot is proud to announce its continued partnership with the Lucerne 2021 Organising Committee.

A multi-sport competition involving 540 universities and polytechnics from 50 countries, the 2021 Winter Universiade will take place from December 11th to 21st 2021 in Lucerne, Switzerland. Tissot will be responsible for the timing and results management.

The 2021 Winter Universiade was originally scheduled to take place in January 2021. Due to the global health crisis, the event was eventually postponed to the end of the year. This is great news for the Swiss organisers and the 1,500 students from all over the world who will compete over 11 days in biathlon, ice hockey, freestyle skiing, freeride skiing, speed skating (short track and long track), snowboarding, curling, figure skating, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing and orienteering.

The competitions will take place at eight different venues (Lucerne, Zug, Stoos, Andermatt, Engelberg, Sursee, St. Moritz and Lenzerheide).
