Located in the town of Gland, near Lake Geneva, Kross Studio’s production site is notably equipped with latest-generation CNC machinery. This modern infrastructure enables a total verticalisation of internal processes from design to commercialisation.
The founders of Kross Studio are five passionate people with 80 years of experience between them, and whose ambition is to turn ordinary objects into extraordinary ones. These creations are made in materials chosen for their performance and premium quality, using innovative techniques. Each detail has been meticulously thought out, from its development to finishing touches, in order to meet both artistic and technical requirements.
While new collaborations will be announced in the upcoming months, Kross Studio is proud to unveil its partnership with the giant entertainment company Warner Bros. Consumer Products. The first timepiece born from this collaboration reinterprets a multi-generational symbol of pop culture. The iconic Tim Burton’s Batmobile is turned into a prestigious desk clock adorning the most stylish contemporary interiors, while achieving an amazing technical performance: a mechanical movement of the highest precision with an unequalled 30-day power reserve.
The greatest challenge for Kross Studio was to conceive, develop and integrate a state-of-the-art tailor-made clock movement, while respecting the exact shape of the Batmobile. It took months of research and development to create this masterpiece with its 512 components – 115 for the exterior and 397 for the movement – in which every detail has been meticulously thought through.
The entire model is composed of the finest materials – carefully selected for their technical properties and refinement. The exterior in black aluminium composite with aeronautical grade scratch protection coating magnificently reproduces the shape of the 1989 Batmobile with its elegantly sophisticated curves. This exclusive collectible is produced in a 100-piece numbered limited edition.
