True to its commitment to the world of snowboarding, Swatch slid into the New Year by once again closely following the LAAX Open event, Europe’s largest freestyle snowboarding competition.
High-flying jumps and tricks, powder snow, live music and entertainment: these were the ingredients of the international event which took place from January 13th to 18th in Laax, Graubünden. The LAAX Open, which is part of the World Cup organised by the International Ski Federation, brings snowboarders together for a breathtaking show. The Graubünden mountains were buzzing to the beat of the riders’ boundless energy.
As official partner of the event, Swatch unveiled a timepiece dedicated to this competition, featuring a bracelet, buckle and packaging directly inspired by this sporting universe.
