New collaboration between Breitling and Ironman

Breitling has unveiled its partnership with Ironman, a company of the Wanda Sports Group, and is now the official timekeeper of the sports entity.

The watch brand will thus be present at several upcoming events, including the Ironman 70.3 World Championship, to be held in Nice, and the 2019 Vega Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. This new collaboration also honours athletes Daniela Ryf, Jan Frodeno and Chris McCormack, members of the Breitling Squad Triathlon.

An exclusive dedicated event was held in the Breitling boutique in New York. More than 150 guests attended, including Paula Newby-Fraser, a true legend in the discipline, Mike Reilly and several other top athletes. On this occasion, the brand unveiled the Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 Ironman Limited Edition, a COSC-certified timepiece that celebrates this partnership.

The competitions organised by the entity offer athletes the opportunity to push themselves further than they ever thought possible by swimming 2.4 miles (3.8 kilometers), cycling 112 miles (180 kilometers), and running 26.2 miles (42.2 kilometers) to complete one of the world’s most challenging single-day endurance races and earning the coveted title of Ironman.
