Back to roots for Eberhard & Co

Founded in 1887 by Georges-Lucien Eberhard, the watch brand originally encompassed the production workshops and the family home under the same roof, located in the famous Maison de l’Aigle on Rue Léopold-Robert in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

In 2019, Eberhard & Co continues celebrating its return to roots – after a decades-long exile in Biel/Bienne – by introducing the new EB 140 calibre. This manual-winding movement features an exclusive design combined with technical and structural features synonymous with quality and durability. Each component has been meticulously selected from an aesthetic point of view in order to maintain a harmonious balance. Particular attention was paid to the bridges of the balance wheel and geartrain, which feature circular wave finishes, while the screws are snailed and the engravings are gilded. Manufactured in Switzerland, this calibre represents the first milestone in a development phase where historical heritage meets constantly evolving innovation.
