As official timekeeper, Breitling was present at the Wheels and Waves festival held in Biarritz last June. The brand thus celebrated its strong bond with the world of motorcycling and surfing.
Since 2012, this global event has attracted thousands of visitors to the famous Basque tourist city, with its dynamic and relaxed atmosphere. The event was truly dedicated to the land and sea, so dear to the watchmaker. Air, the brand’s third universe, was also represented by the Breitling Jet Team during a dedicated show.
Distinguished guests were present, including actor, director, scriptwriter and motorcycle enthusiast Guillaume Canet, Swiss top-ranked Ronja Furrer, as well as sportsman Jérémy Florès, who led a surfing class. During the event, artist Tristan Barroso unveiled a graffiti wall created especially for the occasion. Georges Kern, CEO of the brand, also presented the Premier Wheels and Waves Limited Edition watch, a model made available in a 100-piece red gold limited edition, or a 500-piece steel version.
