The watch brand worked for more than two years with Black Badger Advanced Composites to develop a new exclusive photoluminescent material.
The main research focus was to find a material with crystals capable of offering two different colour emissions: the first during daytime, featuring De Bethune blue visible in natural light; the second at night-time, when these same crystals reflect radiant luminescence, while remaining faithful to the base colour. The readability of the hands, hour-markers and counter is thus greatly improved.
The result is unprecedented and quite unique: it is a new bright, deep, luminous blue with a vivid and elegant tone. Named Blue Moon, this innovation is presented in the new DB28 GS Grand Bleu, offering this timepiece a unique clarity, coupled with a unique visual signature.
