Longines partner of the equestrian world

The Saint-Imier-based house served as timekeeper and official watchmaker of the White Turf St. Moritz sporting event which took place on February 3rd, 10th and 17th.

After these three Sundays of intense competition, the Longines 80. Grosser Preis von Saint-Moritz saw Kieren Fox win on Berrahri, followed by Eddy Hardouin on Jungleboogie and Kieran O’Neill on Nimrod. With a total 111,111 francs in prize money, this race is the most endowed in Switzerland.

For the fifth consecutive year, the watch brand was also the main partner of the Saint-Moritz Association. It also presented the Longines Jockey Silver Trophy to Dennis Schiergen, thereby rewarding the best jockey.

Since 1907, the annual White Turf St. Moritz event takes place on the frozen lake of the Graubünden renowned tourist resort during three Sundays in February. Attracting more than 30,000 visitors yearly, it is considered one of the sporting and social highlights of the winter calendar.
