Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier (VMF) is launching an Open R&D, which aims to establish itself as a one-stop shop for the development of watchmaking projects, offering complete and tailor-made solutions ranging from the creation of original and innovative concepts (mechanisms, movements and/or watches) to their production – all in keeping with the rigorous reliability and quality criteria that have forged VMF’s reputation in the production of luxury watch movements.
The originality of this new project lies in its ability to offer innovative mechanisms designed to meet clients’ specific needs. These novel concepts are created from scratch to give life to original creations by relying on the professionalism of the VMF structure and its expertise in the development and production of simple and complicated movements. The solutions are adapted to the customer’s specifications: complication modules adapted on the basis of VMF or third-party movements, complete movements or watches.
Above and beyond the expertise and creative proposal strength of its development teams, VMF offers its customers and partners an integrated structure and a competence centre without equivalent within the industry, enable it to act as a complete prime contractor for their projects: design and development within the technical bureau, prototyping, industrialisation and production, burn-in as well as after-sales service.
