Omega on the greens of Crans-Montana

From September 6th to 9th, the watch Maison served for the 18th consecutive year as title sponsor of the Omega European Masters tournament held in Crans-Montana.

This golf competition attracts some of the world’s best professional players. Matthew Fitzpatrick triumphed in this 2018 edition after an exciting playoff with Danish golfer Lucas Bjerregaard.

The second edition of the Omega Celebrity masters – an event inviting the glamorous charm of golf into the heart of the majestic Swiss Alps – drew a number of celebrities who played for charity, each having chosen a cause to support. Didier Defago (alpine skier), Theo Gmur (Paralympic athlete), Cody Simpson (singer), Alfonso Ribeiro (actor), Roland de Boer (footballer), Jeremy Roenick (hockey player), Katerina Graham (actress), Brian O’Driscoll (rugby player) and Anastasia Ashley (surfer and fashion model) all joined the fun. Golf champion Michelle Wie was also on hand as a star coach, while Swiss singer Bastian Baker took charge of the entertainment. The trophy was won by Brian O’Driscoll, who was playing on behalf of the ISPCC in Ireland, and his victory doubled the donation to the charity.
