True to its vivid creative vibe, the Biel/Bienne-based Maison is celebrating its 35th birthday this year.
Known for its continuously playful stream of original, inventive and surprising timepieces, the brand chose to unveil Swatch Ugo, a model created in partnership with Ugo Nespolo. Issued in a 3,535-piece limited edition, this model bears the number 35 as well as the Italian artist’s beloved bright hues. Famed for his contagious and colourful ideas, Nespolo had already designed two Swatch Art Special models in the 1990s.
To mark the occasion, the Cité du Temps in Geneva unveiled its brilliantly colourful “Numbers” exhibition showcasing 35 works by Ugo Nespolo, running through to May 1st and proudly honouring the Swatch DNA.
