Louis Moinet commits to 123 Action

During the Geneva watch week in January, the 123 Action NGO drew around 350 people to the Théâtre du Léman, and then to the salons of the Kempinski Hotel.

The evening began with an exclusive performance of the Novecento play, an entertaining moment gifted by its main star, French actor André Dussollier. Secondly, a gala dinner featured an auction organised by the NGO, with the aim of bringing water to needy African and Asian populations. 123 Action is just one year old, and during this short period, has already brought a definitive supply of pure water to around 130,000 families in three countries.

The Ateliers Louis Moinet and 123 Action are chaired by two men, Jean-Marie Schaller and Grégory Prenleloup, united by a solid friendship. Louis Moinet has been financially contributing to the development of this institution since its beginnings. On January 22nd, the watch brand made a new contribution to the NGO’s development by putting up for auction a one-of-a-kind creation, the Tempograph Water. Equipped with an ocean blue dial, this watch evokes the humanitarian vocation of 123 Action, while its bezel is engraved with water drops. This timepiece went under the hammer for 30,000 francs. This sum will help dig six wells in Togo, capable of providing drinking water for more than 10,000 people.
