Growing quarterly results for Richemont

Richemont ended the third quarter of its 2017/2018 financial year on December 31st 2017, posting sales of 3.1 billion euros, a 1% rise (7% at constant exchange rates).

The jewellery Maisons – Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels and Giampiero Bodino – distinguished themselves with 1.8 billion euros in sales, up 5% (+11% at constant exchange rates). The Specialist Watchmakers – A.Lange & Söhne, Baume & Mercier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Officine Panerai, Piaget, Roger Dubuis, Vacheron Constantin and Ralph Lauren – meanwhile achieved sales of 781 million euros, down 4% (1% rise at constant exchange rates). Sales by other brands – Alfred Dunhill, Azzedine Alaïa, Chloé, Lancel, Montblanc and Peter Millar – amounted to 509 million euros (0% at constant rates).

Most regions saw a rise in sales at constant exchange rates: Asia Pacific (+11%, 1.1 billion euros), Middle East (+11%, 236 million euros), Americas (+8%, 561 million euros), Japan (+5%, 294 million euros). Europe brings up the results with a 1% drop (846 million euros).
