Louis Moinet has taken a pivotal step by opening its first ever boutique anywhere in the world. The new store is in Moscow and will be operated by a Rich Time, a longstanding partner of the brand in the Russian capital.
As the watch market is just starting to recover, Louis Moinet is enjoying a spectacular spurt of growth, representing the concrete result of its investments over recent years. The Ateliers have indeed never stopped developing highly ambitious new watch projects, ranging from the Double Tourbillon (Sideralis) to patented sidereal complications (Space Mystery), while also reinforcing its segment dedicated to more affordable models (Metropolis).
To mark the opening of this first own-name point of sale, Louis Moinet has developed a set of four exclusive collections created in cooperation with the artisan Daniel Haas and based on exceptional materials, meticulously selected and finely cut for this purpose. They belong to the “Treasures of the World” collection giving pride of place to mineral dials. These one-of-a-kind creations will respectively feature a dial in red Pietersite (a type of quartz featuring subtle light and shade effects); Dumotierite (a rare fibrous mineral with an intense blue colour); Breccia Obsidian (a crystallised volcanic stone with a surprising visual effect); as well as aventurine (a historical type of man-made glass, produced in the finest Murano glassblowing tradition).
