TAG Heuer timekeeper of the Broadmoor Pikes Peak

A loyal motorsports enthusiast, the brand took a passionate interest in the 2017 edition of the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb as official timekeeper.

This car race was held on June 25th in the mountains of Colorado and can claim to be the world’s highest race, due to its 1,440-metre climb over a 19.99 km track featuring 156 turns. This challenging event subjects participants to a tough change of atmospheric density due to altitude.

Nicknamed “The Race to the Clouds”, this iconic competition attracted around 80 participants, divided into 12 categories ranging from motorcycle to car, as well as quads, trucks and some particularly impressive over 1,000-horsepower vehicles. TAG Heuer also honoured the performance of French racing driver Romain Dumas, who topped the ranks for the third year running.
