A world first for VMF

Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier (VMF) has recently acquired a chronometry unit capable of measuring independently, continuously and in parallel, the performance of movements and watches. This configuration is a world first and was produced by the CLA company to meet the needs and criteria of the Fleurier house.

The skills of the staff members and the precision of their work throughout the value added chain are now validated by this technological jewel. Programmed to make sure that VMF specifications are respected, this chronometry unit provides impartial certification of the reliability of watches and movements. It is one of the last links in the movement manufacturer’s intelligence and industrial concept.

Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, together with the other watchmaking member companies of the Group, including atokalpa, elwin, Les Artisans Boîtiers and Quadrance & Habillage, will share a stand at the sub-contracting exhibition to be held from 20 to 23 June. Jean-Daniel Dubois, CEO of VMF, will give a public lecture on Thursday, 22 June at 15:30 on the topic of VMF industrialisation.
