The Montblanc for Unicef Collection

On April 3rd 2017, Montblanc unveiled its renewed partnership with Unicef at the New York Public Library. In this way the firm is restating its commitment to literacy and the education of children.

To mark the event, Nicolas Baretzi, brand CEO, celebrated this cooperation in the presence of guests including actor Hugh Jackman, Charlotte Casiraghi, comedians Aissa Maiga and Rami Malek and singer Gigi Leung.

Aware of the importance of the right to education, the Geneva-based company pays particular attention to writing which it regards as a precious gift that each individual should enjoy. The launch of Montblanc for Unicef, the new collection of timepieces, writing instruments, accessories and leather goods in limited editions, marks a new chapter in the joint history of the two partners.

To emphasize the universal aspect of writing, these new creations represent the diversity of languages by taking their inspiration from six handwritten characters. The profits of the sale of each model until March 31st 2018 will be donated to programmes facilitating access for children to high quality primary education.
