The FH agents in the United Arab Emirates conducted investigations which led in July to two police raids on apartments located in the Deira "Gold Souk" in the Emirate of Dubai.
In all, over 16,500 counterfeit Swiss watches were confiscated during these actions. Criminal proceedings were opened and trials will be held against the “managers” of the apartments on which these actions were targeted. As was the case with previous operations, the counterfeit watches were mostly hidden away in caches that were discovered as a result of prior investigations by FH agents and police questioning.
