Ulysse Nardin In The United States - A Flagship Store In Florida

On 16 December, the luxury manufactory Ulysse Nardin officially opened the doors of its first American store located in the shopping mall of the city of Boca Raton (United States). In a sophisticated setting with a nautical flavour, the outlet showcases the brand’s unique character.

One of the highlights of this inauguration was the sale by auction of a limited edition watch from the Boutique line, designed specifically for this event. With a retail price of $12,900, it was sold for the sum of $35,000. All proceeds from this sale were donated to the Regional Hospital of Boca Raton.

"We are delighted to write a new page of our history by opening our first American store in this very prosperous city," said Rolf Schnyder, the owner and CEO of Ulysse Nardin, on the right in our photo, where he is accompanied by Susan Whelchel, the Mayor of Boca Raton, and the famous baseball player Randy Johnson (in the background). "Our head office is also located strategically in Boca Raton so we can meet the requests of our customers who live or take their holidays here."

At the end of the inaugural ceremony, the Le Locle based manufactory unveiled its plan to purchase new 650m2 premises for its American head office in Boca Raton. In the spring of 2011, this building will be developed into workshops housing around ten watchmakers fully trained in Switzerland.
