At the end of November, Breguet opened a boutique at number 3 Red Square. This prominent location has been developed to create a prestigious backdrop for the firm’s beautifully finished watch designs and sumptuous luxury jewellery collections.
The architectural finish of the building’s frontispiece strikes the eye even at a great distance. Its outward attractiveness owes itself to bluish (resembling enamel finish of the Breguet pocket watches glass) with which window apertures are decorated.
The interior of the Boutique was designed in compliance with its specialization. The choice of materials was inspired by contemplation of Breguet chronometers.
For the sales area finish, rack filters were used as well as other gilded materials which brilliantly reveal the play of light and shade on the engravings of the Breguet chronometers creating the atmosphere of intimacy. On the whole, the shop’s interior is based on a combination of royal blue and the color of golden sun. Leather cases, mosaic of wood, golden threads and gold encrustations excellently add to the harmonious ensemble of the home décor.
This magnificent place invites all admirers of Breguet into a dream: a journey to the world of watchmaking handicraft with this unique combination of tradition and novelty; to the world of the art of jewelry where the most beautiful jewels were created through ardent labor of expert chasers; to the history and culture of Europe – and all this is in the shade of portraits of numerous celebrated clients including the Tsar Alexander I, a devoted admirer of Breguet. It is namely in honor of this emperor that, in 2003, Breguet named its technological masterpiece equipped with alarm and second time zone functions "Le Réveil du Tsar".
After the opening of new boutiques in Tokyo, Paris, Geneva, Los Angeles, Cannes, London, Dubai, Seoul, Vienna and New York, the Breguet brand grows still stronger on the legendary Red Square and confirms its leadership in the world of high watchmaking and jewellery.
