Chopard At The Cannes Film Festival - Twelve Magical Days

Once again, the firm from Geneva was omnipresent at Cannes last May on the occasion of the 56th Film Festival. Among the countless celebrities who chose to wear Chopard creations as they climbed the famous steps were: Isabelle Adjani, Penelope Cruz, Eva Herzigova, Elisabeth Hurley, Ornela Muti, Isabelle Huppert, Ludivine Sagnier, Géraldine Chaplin, Alessandra Martinez, etc.

But Chopard in Cannes also means the eponymous trophy aimed at encouraging new talent. This year, more than 350 guests, including Bernard Giraudeau, Samuel Le Bihan, Jean-Luc Bideau, Carole Laure, Juliette Lewis and Julie Gayet, warmly applauded the prizewinners: Diane Kruger and Gael Garcia Bernal. Representing a golden roll of film, the prizes were awarded to the winners by Isabelle Adjani, accompanied by Gilles Jacob, President of the Festival.

And Chopard at Cannes is also a fashion show at the Palm Beach, featuring a harmonious blend of haute couture collections by Roberto Cavalli and luxury jewellery by Chopard. Jeanne Moreau, Judith Godrèche and the tennis players Serena Williams and Monica Seles were notably in attendance at the event, as well as singer Lionel Richie, accompanied in our photo by Roberto Cavalli and Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, Vice-president of Chopard.

And on a final note, let's not forget that Chopard at Cannes is also, and perhaps above all, the designer of the Palme d'Or, the most coveted award in the world of cinema!
