About us

Created in 1982 through the merger of the Swiss Federation of Watch Manufacturers' Associations and the Swiss Watch Chamber, the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH is today the culmination of almost 150 years of association activity within the Swiss watch industry.

As the industry's umbrella organisation, the FH currently has nearly 500 members, representing more than 90% of Swiss companies engaged in the production and marketing of watches, clocks, pendulums or components.

Our objectives include helping to defend and develop the Swiss watch industry, promoting our members' interests, including before the courts, and representing the entire industry, both in Switzerland and abroad.

Our role also involves reconciling our members' interests and coordinating the industry's positions on policy matters. Externally, we work to promote framework conditions conducive to the harmonious development of business. Our members also benefit from a wide range of services, particularly in legal, economic and commercial matters.

To carry out these activities, we also maintain a presence in Hong Kong, Japan and Latin America.
