Breguet has unveiled the fourth chapter celebrating its 250th anniversary, the Classique Tourbillon Sidéral 7255. This 50-piece limited edition was unveiled on 26 June in tribute to that same date in 1801, when Abraham-Louis Breguet was awarded a patent for his invention of the tourbillon.
When the original Opus debuted in 1995, it stunned the watch world as the first of its kind. Chronographs were traditionally closed, rather conservative and functional. Imagined by Chronoswiss, the Opus flipped the script: a chronograph with skeletonised movement architecture exposed proudly on the dial side.
As part of its support for the non-profit organisation Billion Oyster Project, Oris has unveiled the New York Harbor Limited Edition II. This Aquis Date – from which part of the proceeds will help fund the environmental project’s mission – features a sea-green mother-of-pearl dial with an oyster shell effect.
In 2016, Maurice Lacroix released the Aikon, an urban watch that has since become the company’s best-selling collection. Now, the brand from the Franches Montagnes has created a new range of urban watches, sharing a family likeness with the Aikon but packed with innovative craftsmanship. The new Aikonic collection features a blend of cutting-edge materials and technology. A product of the Swiss Jura, the new creation skilfully crafted at the company’s Saignelégier Manufacture incorporates some locally sourced components.
The La Chaux-de-Fonds-based watchmaker has unveiled a new white gold creation featuring a 43mm tourbillon. Its hand-painted dial reproduces an illustration by John Howe, artistic director of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and a friend of the brand. Both the artwork and its horological reproduction have been acquired by the same collector.
Expanding its Métiers d’Art collection, Louis Erard has unveiled the Gravée Main timepiece. This 99-piece limited edition celebrating the art of engraving is entirely handcrafted. Each case – from bezel to crown and buckle – requires more than 50 hours of work. This means that two watches are alike, each a one-of-a-kind creation in its own right.
LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world’s leading high-quality products group, recorded revenue of €39.8 billion in the first half of 2025. The group showed good resilience and maintained its powerful innovative momentum despite a disrupted geopolitical and economic environment.
Commemorating its 50-year anniversary, Maurice Lacroix has unveiled three limited-edition watches. Graceful and sleek, these classically styled timepieces are ideally suited to modern-day living. Enriched with refined details, they pay tribute to the company’s home, located in the Franches-Montagnes.
