As part of its official collaboration with Lucasfilm, Kross Studio presents the Death Star Ultimate Collector Set, which consists of a central tourbillon watch and an authentic kyber crystal.
This material is the power source for the Death Star superlaser used in the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The whole thing is preciously housed in an impressive container. Designed for fans of the saga as well as for collectors of unique designs, the collector’s set embodies the strength of the Galactic Empire and its space station.
The Death Star Tourbillon watch takes up the challenge of the central tourbillon, a rare mechanical complication. Presented in a 45mm grade 5 titanium case with a black DLC coating, the captivating tourbillon cage, which represents the Death Star’s northern hemisphere, completes one revolution per minute. On the surface, the green superlaser gun recalls the power generated by kyber crystals.
The mechanical hand-wound movement has a five-day power reserve. The hands, set on a peripheral display rotating 360 degrees around the tourbillon, embody the iconic vessels of the Empire. An ingenious pusher integrated between 3 and 4 o’clock replaces the traditional crown for modern time-setting. On the caseback, the central ring serves to wind the movement while preserving the elegant style and clean lines.
Two buttons on the caseback serve to enable a strap change. Three sets are included in the box: one in grey leather embossed with Death Star-inspired motifs for a unique 3D effect and two others in black or red rubber.
Only ten Death Star Ultimate Collector Sets are being produced, already heralding equally breathtaking future collections inspired by the Star Wars saga.
