Maurice Lacroix celebrates its Eliros collection

Maurice Lacroix is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its Eliros collection. Since 1966, this avant-garde line has drawn inspiration from new trends in adopting original materials and colours.

To mark this event in due style, the watchmaker called on the talent of Adeline Ziliox, haute couture designer and member of the ML Crew, to create the new Eliros Date 25th. The Frenchwoman worked on Maurice Lacroix’s designs to create two limited-edition watches with straps made of synthetic leather and Piñatex, a material containing pineapple leaf fibre.

On one of the models unveiled, the designer chose to represent the odd hours with a Clous de Paris hobnail pattern, which also forms a circle running along the edges of the dial. In the centre, the artist sought to reproduce the appearance of fabric, her main working instrument. Her second creation, with its powder pink dial, features a lattice pattern extending onto the accompanying strap.
