Hublot follows the Bol d'Or Mirabaud

Official timekeeper for the eighth year, Hublot closely followed the 81st edition of the Bol d’Or Mirabaud, which took place from June 14th to 16th.

Considered the world’s largest closed basin regatta, this competition is known for the difficulty of its water surface and the diversity of the winds blowing across it.

Decked out in the colours of this sporting event, the Classic Fusion Chronograph Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2019 watch combines ingenious elegance and power. Issued in an 81-piece limited edition, it was presented to the crews of Ladycat Powered by Spindrift Racing, Raffica and Modulo 93 Matière grise boats, respective winners of the Bol d’Or Challenge, Bol de Vermeil and Mirabaud Trophy ACVL-SRS respectively.

The winds on Lake Geneva are unpredictable. From a gentle breeze to high winds, this lake is known for its thermals which can change dramatically in the course of a day’s racing, spanning all four seasons in one day. Considered to be the most important race in international sailing, the Bol d’Or Mirabaud attracts experienced sailors and amateurs alike, and the race brings together multihulls (D35, M2, Easy to Fly, etc.) monohulls, monotypes and prototypes, all driven by this same passion for water and limit-testing.
