Launch of the Fine Watch Club

Julien Haenny

Founded by industry professionals and based in Geneva, the Fine Watch Club was created last fall. Since its foundation, it has grown rapidly and already has more than 3,000 members worldwide.

In order to continue growing the community, developing its offers and building the future, the club’s founders decided to bring in a professional management team, and appointed Julien Haenny to take the helm.

Having spent the last 15 years in the watch industry, Julien Haenny brings considerable international experience and in-depth knowledge to the role. In recent years he has been CEO of Anonimo and interim CEO of Vulcain, two niche brands. Julien Haenny is hands-on; he likes to be at the heart of the action, and thrives on human contact. He has worked for MGI Luxury Group, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Technomarine, with stints in marketing, communication, distribution and finance. Versatility and creativity are his watchwords. Julien Haenny was keen to take on this ambitious entrepreneurial challenge, which is already generating quite a buzz.

The Fine Watch Club is new, different, targeted and connected. It offers its members multiple benefits throughout the year, opening the door to watch industry events around the world, offering behind-the-scenes access to haute horlogerie, private sales of luxury timepieces and exclusive limited series each month. Today’s watch collectors and enthusiasts are looking for experiences and exclusivity. Watch brands want to know more about their end customers, and to develop a relationship with them. The Fine Watch Club meets both these needs.

The Fine Watch Club is currently in its launch phase; it is due to open a new gallery and roll out the first events beginning this spring, with a view to being fully operational by the autumn.
