Following the opening of its Geneva boutique on the Rue du Rhône, IWC Schaffhausen has now inaugurated “Les aviateurs” bar, just next door. In close collaboration with Globus and its CEO, Thomas Herbert, Christophe Grainger-Herr, CEO of the watchmaking Maison, have unveiled this venue devoted to the world of pilots.
In an atmosphere combining warmth and elegance, clients can thus immerse themselves in the early years of aerial navigation and rediscover the spirit of pioneers such as Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The establishment also offers exclusive cocktails – dedicated to the brand’s iconic pilot’s watches – specially created by Globus.
Managed by the Geneva department store, the brand is designed to be a place of style, elegance and sophistication. The dark wood and leather-based interior design is inspired by gentlemen’s clubs of the 1920s and 1930s, where pilots came to discuss their adventures. The tasteful decor blends harmoniously with the original photographs and maps, taking guests on a journey into this fascinating era.
