Funky Blue, the most daring of the smoky dials from H. Moser Cie, now adorns a guitar gifted to the U2 bass player, Adam Clayton.
Behind this fine story lies an encounter: that between Laurent Picciotto, founder of Chronopassion; Edouard Meylan, CEO of the watch brand; and the team from Wild Customs, an artisan guitar-making workshop run by passionate enthusiasts who are a little bit crazy but above all extremely talented. United by their shared passion for music and Fine Watchmaking, they conceived the idea of creating a custom guitar which they gifted to Adam Clayton.
A fan of Fine Watchmaking and a friend of H. Moser & Cie, Adam Clayton already owns several timepieces from the Schaffhausen-based brand. While U2 was on tour in Paris this summer, Edouard Meylan and Laurent Picciotto officially presented the musician with a bass guitar specially created for him by the artisans at Wild Customs. Glowing with the magnificent Funky Blue of H. Moser smoky dials, this exceptional instrument features a wealth of references to the pure and elegant style of the Manufacture.
