IWC Shaffhausen supports the swiss filmmaker

Karl Spoerri, Niklaus Hilber, Valentin Greutert, Christoph Grainger-Herr and Philip Delaquis

For its Filmmaker Award, the Association for the Promotion of Film in Switzerland selected three film projects.

For the third year running, this cultural entity founded in 2015 by IWC Schaffhausen – together with Nadja Schildknecht and Karl Spoerri, co-directors of the Zurich Film Festival, film director Marc Forster, and Marc Walder, CEO Ringier – aims to support projects by Swiss filmmakers in the production and post-production stages with a 100,000 Swiss francs prize.

The American actor James Marsden presented the prize to the winner at the IWC gala dinner entitled “For the Love of Cinema” held as part of the ZFF. Christoph Grainger-Herr, CEO of the watch company, was present at the dinner alongside the co-directors of the Zurich event, as well as Niklaus Hilbert and Phillip Delaquis, respectively director and co-producer of the winning film.
