Fabrice Deschanel new CEO of Greubel Forsey

Fabrice Deschanel

In early June, Greubel Forsey announced the appointment of Fabrice Deschanel as CEO. Having joined the brand in April 2017, he took on his new role on June 1st and will be responsible for handling ongoing and future projects.

Fabrice Deschanel has dual French-Swiss nationality and holds a doctorate in microtechnical engineering. The 55-year-old new CEO brings with him more than 25 years of experience in Fine Watchmaking, notably acquired at the head of Audemars Piguet (Renaud & Papi).

It was in 1990 that Fabrice Deschanel first met Robert Greubel, when they were appointed as joint operational directors at Renaud & Papi.

Two years later, Stephen Forsey joined them there to work on the most complicated movements… and the rest is history! Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey will continue, as in the past, to instil their creative touch and share advice, both in terms of the company’s strategic orientations, as well as the development of innovations. Fabrice Deschanel’s resolutely experienced profile will enable the watch firm to deepen and strengthen a strategy aimed at perpetuating the results achieved to date.
