Ronda expands its Normtech range

The latest Ronda timepiece, the calibre 756 with electronic time setting, rounds off the Normtech quartz range.

With a dimension of 5½’’’ and two hands, this innovation is intended for jewellery watches and elegant timepieces without a time setting stem. The pressure point for electronic time-setting is clearly perceptible. Its operation is convenient and precise. The firm supplies this mechanism in Swiss made and Swiss Parts versions.

Ronda has also begun deliveries of its R150 mechanical movement launched last year at Baselworld. In future, watch manufacturers will therefore be able to procure supplies of mechanical and quartz calibres from the same source.

Founded in 2002, the Ronda Time Center sets out to provide complete assembly of watches and quartz movements for timepiece manufacturers. Over and above this main activity, the range of services provided has been constantly extended during the past fifteen years. Today, further investments have been made in the South of Switzerland, in particular to achieve added value for Swiss watchmakers. The range now includes milled and laser cut engravings for personalised or serial marking. In addition, various production stages are possible during watch case assembly, e.g. fitting the watch glasses, tube stems, pushpieces and the filling or gluing of fancy stones. On request, the Ronda Time Center also provides logistic and administrative services.
