Perrelet has made its debut in Bollywood with the film Rustom, directed by Neeraj Pandey and inspired by real events.
Showing in cinemas from 12 August, this full length film features the Indian actor Akshay Kumar in the leading role as the naval officer Rustom Pavri. This thriller, in which a man must fight to preserve his own integrity as well as that of the nation, sees pride, passion and power in contention. On his wrist, the leading actor sports a Dipteros timepiece from the historical collection bearing the Perrelet signature.
